International Recruitment Survey

Deadline: November 30th

Build a better recruitment program with us!

Labour shortages are a growing problem in B.C. and elsewhere, as businesses compete for workers from a shrinking labour pool in a growing economy.
Last year, the BCHA initiated a pilot project to recruit international tourism and hospitality post-secondary students from Ireland to address the seasonal labour shortages experienced by our members.
To follow-up, this year the BCHA has engaged Chemistry Consulting Group to conduct further research on the recruitment challenges faced by hotel operators in BC and any anticipated labour shortages for the coming year. In addition to recruiting potential students from Ireland, new research on potentially expanding the source countries from which to recruit from will also be part of this year’s project.
The key to success for this program will be member engagement. Your response is important to assess the level of interest that hotel operators in B.C. have in participating in international recruitment. We would greatly appreciate it if you would take a few minutes to answer the survey questions (see link below).
Please complete the survey by Friday, November 30th, 2018.
